Posted: Wed Dec 07, 2005 9:14 pmWell, I'm still busy doing the old SABENA repaints On this one, I worked for 3 days : the Sud Aviation SE-210 Caravelle, a Mike Stone model I got from his site.
The history :
Sud-Est SE-210 Caravelle 6 jetliners were introduced on all medium-haul routes in Europe from February 1961 and were flown on most European routes, alongside the Convair 440s, until the early 1970s. After that, they got replaced first by the boeing 727-100 and later by the boeing 737-200.
Todays flight will take us from Brussel To Dublin. (hence the guiness in the title
)
Enjoy the flight
Aircraft that are still in line for a nice SABENA repaint : Convair 440, Douglas DC3 & DC6, McDonnell Douglas DC10 & Lockheed Constellation. (why did SABENA use so much different aircraft, this list is just the beginning
) But they'll have to wait, I'll be doing something else first
And I know I said in my previous post that this one wouldn't include SABENA planes, I guess I was wrong
