Hi all,

It's not often you'll find me driving buses around the country, but I felt like a bit of a change today. Just a short hop from Exeter (EGTE) to Heathrow (EGLL) - in some good old British fog.

Just waiting for a pushback:

Away into the fog - never to be seen again:

It was a real 'pea souper' today - all the way up to 4000ft:

Once we'd cleared the tops though it was a lovely day again - as normal:

Descending back into the 'soup' on approach to Heathrow:

Ahh, there she is - I was beginning to think this runway wasn't going to be where I thought it was:

Just time to wipe my sweaty brow before I kicked in the reverse thrust:

A pleasant sight to see - London for my passengers & a stiff whisky for my nerves:

I've got to get over my fear of flying the Cessna's before I tackle one of those beasts. Nice series tsc. Creates a great "English" mood!

Ah, nice ILS landing. It sure is good to see those arrows when you know that you're that close to the ground huh?

I wish i had that precision. About an hour ago i tried to land at Dulles in heavy fog and hit the ground and crashed just to the right or runway 1R. GUTTED!

Heck no!! I find screeenies of buses quite boring really - the scenery all looks the same from way up there.

I'll be back in the Husky very soon.

It sure is -  although sometimes they still don't turn up, thats when I find out that I've hit the wrong switch!
