Dont ask me what happened with the last shot, i think a flare went off under my nose. pesky destroyers!

yes the carrier was the HMNZAS Waikato which is downloadable here at simv.

I was just reading through the readme that came with it, and apparently one of the destroyers lets off flares and fireworks between 1700 and 2300. Plus the fact it was raining and icky and horrible kinda made it more eerie that normal.

Nice! That last one is real startling, I love those moments in the game, both unexpected ones like yours and others caused by imperfections in the game....
