For anyone that doesn't know where the switches are located on the panel (manual doesn't have pictures)... a short guide

Apologies ahead for the weird sizing (very wide one for the switch block), but all shots whitin limits


Switches
Shift-numpad 2 from the main view

Radio is also on Shift-2 and shift-3 popup and doesnt react to the atc dialin thing


Left panel: standard view
You need at least 40% rpm for the generator to catch on


Right panel: shift-num5.
This is where the ADF lives


Main panel
ADF is in same gauge as the gyro compass (closed arrow). moves around when the station is out of range.
Big knob on left bottom of the gyrocompass moves the heading bug (open arrow)

Watch that engine temperature gauge: 280C = fail light and it stops

Eco Climb + max cruise: max throtle, 70%RPM
Eco Cruise: rpm down until it drops no more, then adjust throttle to get it at 60%

Thanks for taking the time to make/post this, I'm sure I'll get to the Yak-18 eventually... maybe you should do some more for the other incomprehensible Russian panels, and upload them to SimV...? Not sure how many people would be grateful, but I would be...
