I was just wondering, the silver wings textures are only recommended if you want to fly GA but not the airliners. My question is, why? Why are those textures bad for airliner type flying? Omag, could you please do me a favour a post a shot of the Silver Wings scenery while on approach in an airliners.
Thanks!

I'll try to get some airliner shots for you, since I wanted to do a ground texture comparison under the theme of "bus driving" anyways.

I don't think it's an approach thing... I've noticed that from a great hight they tend to be repetitive...

Its not restricted to ga guys. The point is, It was designed with low and slow GA in mind, but If you want, you can fly higher in jets.

Thanks Omag. Looks pretty good to me. I won't be able to try it for a while as I don't even have FS9 installed on this machine. I can't get the full effects on the broken one either.

i hate to say but I've only seen water that calm a few times in early morning, needs waves or ripples...... calm day on the great lakes have wee lil ripples about an inch high.... (that is, in bays and shallows) open water you get two and three foot rollers.....

just suggestions and info.....the Bath tub water is pweetty

Maybe so but that's hardly the fault of the textures.

Anyone tried to install the silver wings stuff in a different map and tried to lift the watertextures from the texture-map it makes? Theoretically you should be able to implement them in the FS-texture map, no?
I won't try it... I'm going back to morewatr.zip... :P

Download and install it into a temporary folder, than select the water textures and copy them into your FS, why don
