Here's my list of rejected entries for this months screenie comp.

They all feature David Maltby's wonderful VC-10 with the stunning RAF Lyneham scenery.
I like them all as individual shots; I just didn't think they were good enough as an entry on their own.

I know one thing though; I wouldn't like to be one of the residents of the RAF houses stationed just below the runway threshold. It'd be a hell of a wakeup call each morning!  :o [Unless you like Conways, that is. Or whatever engines the RAF 'Herks' use...]

A bit of cropping on shots two and four and you could make really good wallpapers of them.

I thought about using shot 4 in the competition but decided against it due to the darkness of the image and the distance of the plane. Its almost like the houses become the main focus of the image and I didn't think that would work in the contest...
