Hardly a thing can beat a Jug in firepower or sheer brute strength and toughness!

thats why i fly it..... it just looks like its going to rip your head off and us your head as a mug....

Those Jugs are hard to shoot down. But not as hard as an IL-2.

Me also, it helped me learn how to pull out of different spins. I use to fly Janes Combat Flight Simulator but that was really arcade like, almost like flying through butter. tasty...

Well i dont know about that..... quite a few stories of Jugs losing parts of wings and a few pistons and still making it home...

Heard a story about a Fw-190 pilot who escorted a limping Jug almost to the english coast - after he had put all his remaining bullets into it.
