Well I finally managed to sober up off the fine German beer and swap the French Corsair for a heavily used 190 at Warbird Exchange! Good old Fritz did me a good deal... I'm not sure it is meant to leak oil like that though.....
So an early start

After lots of arguments with Templhof ground control over who had their towel on the runway first this morning...

Coming in low and fast into Holland... this feels familiar Early 1940s methinks!


On final for 1L at Schiphol...

After taxiing around half the airport I finally get to parking!

I got chatting to a man called Pablo Escosomething and he wants me to take a heavy to Italy for him with a consignment of cans of bis... whatever bis is
So in the next exciting installment will Ozzy become a drug runner. Will Amsterdam ATC exceed planes in altitude and finally reach space? Can Ozzy find the bar (do bears poo in the woods)?

I don't think "ze germans" used the FW190 to come in low and fast in Holland early 1940's since they started production of this marvellous airplane in 1941 (I know I'm splitting hairs )

I know the Germans didn't get the 190 into action until '41 hence my comment "early 1940s" meaning in the first half of that decade

The biggest thing Pablo had was a Dak, see the new thread for scary details of a scary flight! I NEVER want to do that again
