On approach to the USS George Washington. A hawkeye is on its final approach to the wires.

With weather like this.... this had to be a bolter. Power up and away. Another Hawkeye ready to be launched below.
Image

Climbing away to above the clouds where there is better weather. The bolter wasnt all that bad; the problem is that my airspeed indicator has totally messed up due to icing.
Image

Luckily another Tomcat is here to guide me in. My salutations, Luitenant Antei! ;)
Image

Have a closer look at the airspeed indicator; it reads zero. Now thats why I need this other plane to my right! ;D Were nearing the landing pattern.
Image

Finally coming down back safely on the carrier. Thanks to the Hawkeye crew back there for looking out; without them feeding me airspeed data It would be unlikely that I could have made it back...

Nice to see, that others than me is also using the greatest carrier based fighter ever! 8)

And very nice story and pics!

You won't dare to crash $30.000.000 military fighterplane, would you?

Cheers Theis

Whoa thanks this is some awesome feedback!

Its actually multiplayer!  ;D

However, there is carrier you can download called the Waikato which has like hornets taking off from it and stuff. And it has support ships near it, probably what you're looking for.

I found these carriers on Avsim but doubtlessly you can also find them on SimV.

Look for - Arrcabb carriers (no traffic)
             - Waikato (Traffic)

Oh and if you actually want to stop on the carrier you are going to need a program called 3wire, I found that on avsim aswell.

Kobe :)
