Are you totally sure it's not Namibia?
Search "Holger Sandmann mesh" under Flight Simulator 2004 - Scenery on AVSIM. He's done a fair few terrain mesh files, mainly British Colombia and Namibia. I'm pretty sure the scenery shown in my screenshots are the Canadian Rockies, which there are a few files for. Well worth the download.

The first shot has fully loaded textures and terrain, but in the second they look blurred. Is there a way of getting round this, because by the time the textures load, half the time, I've already flown by them!
