Nice, I particularly like the landing on the catapults, not the runway ;).

:)

ha - didn't actually . It's quite a big bird, but the cfg file of that plane needs tweeking a little because it has a very large turning circle on the ground. So after landing I'd pulled to the left to give room for a 180 on the relatively narrow deck.

Unfortunately because these pics were taken from a replay you can't see any AI either. The planes that are visible are just statics. An A6 had landed just before and I'd been told to go around, which I'd ignored. While I was taxying back to park and taking up most of the deck because of the wing span a Tomcat landed and shot by very close to the starboard wing tip.

Tower should really have told him to go around  but they didin't ::)

I like that plane... ;D  Did you get it on somviation?  I think the textures on the aircraft carrier are a bit dissapointing, but then again the water textures are really nice!!! :D

Nice landing Roger, that AI not appearing in the replay is a real PITA ::)

Thanks guys.

Soui, don't know where I got it - I've looked in the obvious places and can't find it.

Its the well-known model by Vladimir Zhyhulskiy and all I can say is it's a repaint by Bill Baldwin. Might be worth searching the name in the usual places as he's done a lot of repaints and a few models I think.

Sorry Mark, didn't see your reply as we posted together.

Yeah, I wasn't going for pics at the time. I've been re-testing the jolly old carrier package with a view to uploading it. Silly not to really as it was a lot of work.

All of my original ships (off Masachusetts, Florida, Texas and San Diego) seem to work fine. I was worried about the dreaded MS XML water scenery errors but these really only seem to happen in the Bay area for some reason, where I've got another 3 carriers. These I can leave out really. Pity as they're a lot of fun when they work, with AI helis flying off the original 'default' carrier and other 'interesting'
