Last screens I posted were a couple of weeks ago...Had several flights.  Made kind of a loop back into Sydney.

As for my VA i have now been promoted to First Officer ;D  84 flights and 413.6 hours 8)

Coming in for landing after a long flight from Tokyo.
Image
Next stop was Brisbane.  Climbing out.
Image
Decending into some nasty weather...Or at least there was plenty of turbulence.
Image

Couldnt decide where to go next...I had time for a long haul so I decided to head for Los Angeles.

Taking off with a stiff crosswind.
Image
Image
After nearly 13 hours we are finaly making our early morning approch into LAX.
Image
Image
Parked at the gate and unloading.
Image

Could have hung around LA for awhile, or back to Brisbane, but I chose to fly back into Sydney.  I like Australia quite well.

Taxiing out of international with a nice view of the China Eastern long bird.  Its already boarding for its departure in 20 minutes.
Image
Up and out.  Not looking forward to the flight ahead.
Image
Image
Cruising into the fading light.  The flight went fairly smooth other then headwinds.  Arrived 50 minutes late nearly out of fuel :-[  Grand total for this flight was 15.4 hours:o
Image

Already tonight I have flown to Melbourne on a Qantas A330-200.  There are no pics from this flight due to turbulent weather requiring constant attention  :-[  Hell of a landing.  One touch & go with a tail strike :-[  Made it safetly the second try with a crusher of a touchdown.  D@mn changing crosswinds  :-/

Nice shots, Triple 7. Japan and Qantas don't fly 777's? ;)

QANTAS will soon be flying 777s (hopefully) last I heard they were deciding between 777 or A340 to fly international routes, they were leaning more towards the 777

Interesting 'serious' post, the attraction of real time long haul flights has so far escaped me, but it looks like you had a good time at it... :) Congrats on your promotion!

Thanks :)

Well if there was a realistic yet frame rate friendly 777 out there i would use it.  I was flying the FSP models but got a little tired of lack of higher detail :-X

I know there are Meljets but they truely kill this computer.  I dont like flying with fps of 3-4 while taking screens.  At least the Posky aircraft hold around 15 when in spot view :P

Didnt know Qantas was thinking of the 777...Would be nice to see them with some new aircraft  ;)

Ahhh how I miss the KLAX-YSSY route, I'm relegated to domestic hops in a Delta 752 during the school year.  Glad to see someone doing them :)

And don't forget that if you're running low on fuel on your way back to Syndey, Nadi is a great place to fill up-it's the 3/4 point and you fly almost directly over it ;)
