Having stayed the night at Swift Reservoir (& stuffing myself stupid on some fantastic home cooking ), it was time to await the arrival of my lift back home to Hanks.

Ahh here it is, making it's way through the morning mist:

I'm sure none of us need any introduction to my co-pilot for the trip home, what a site for sore eyes she is aswell:

Got all my stuff, & we're on our way. We're stopping off on our way back to visit one of her 'girly' friends at Tippella, British Columbia. For some reason I think i'm gonna have the throttles stuck wide open all the way there :

Making haste (& some cosy small talk), checking out the scenery as we speed past:

I've still got the throttles jammed as far open as they'll go - just check out the Airspeed Indicator:o:

Almost there now, all I've got left to do is make an impressive landing - I don't want to look like a complete doofus in front of the ladies now do I, especially seeing as they are both competent pilots in their own right:

To be honest cspyro, I don't really know, I guess that in a real Widgeon there is some sort of door/hatch there - or else it's just a space for my co-pilot to put her handbag.

It's a hatch for access to the nose; I guess for baggage, ropes, anchor, etc. A better view, and many other cool close-ups of the Widgeon, can be found here:
