Hi and welcome to the next episode of :



LEG 3 : Roma  ->  Athena

Today I'm going to fly from Roma Fiumicino (LIRF) to Athena Eleftherios Venizelos (LGAV)

At  the parking.  Mechanics managed to repair the broken engine #2.  It was just a minor problem.




Taking of.  This doesn't look good.  Very bad weather ahead.




-> Left Pic :  I shouldn't be flying in this weather.  There is lots of turbulence so its difficult to stay on course.

-> Right Pic :  The city of Pompeii.  Pompeii was destroyed during an eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.  

                             


Finally I got above the clouds.  Still some lightning, but flying is much easier than before.




-> Left Pic :  Stromboli is an island / active volcano near Sicilia (Italy).  It stands approximately 900m high above sea level and is one of the most active volcanos in the world.

-> Right Pic :  After flying over Sicilia I headed for Greece.

                             


Now this looks strange.  I seem to loose fuel out of the left tank.  




Landing at Eleftherions Venizelos.  My best landing so far with the Condor!

Another great effort! - I must have missed the second one and the link doesn't work for me... will have to take a look.....I'd prefer the photos to be larger but thats just my HO....

Just seen your last set, VERY NICE! Great shots of the plane, and a nice big pic of Rome. It seems you don't have the Roma Fiumicino freeware airport, it is fantastic.
