So here we were. Mitchell and I had come a long way from home, tucked away in the Iranian mountains.
The marines were very intrigued to see why we were here. After showing them our journeys and stories, we had caused quite a crowd.
Suddenly, after a calm night sat in the officers' mess drinking many coffees, a commanding officer approached us.
  "You boys, a phone call."
"A...phone call?" Mitchell asked me as I went to answer it. "Who would call us here, at this time?"
"I dunno, but whoever it is, I musn't keep them waiting." I got up out of my chair, walked over to the cubicle with the phone in it, and picked up. "Hello?" I asked.
"Yes, my name is Akbar, and I am calling from India."
India was the next stop on our map, so it seems that this had to be something to do with our flight. "Oh, is this to do with my Round the World flight?"
"Well, yes and no. I am the spokesperson for the Pronce of India, and his Majesty is keen to meet you."
It seemed I was about to drown in my own sweat. "Oh, thats wonderful," I said, nervous yet excited at the same time. "Why does he want to meet me and Mitchell?"
"Well," Akbar said, "he wants to talk to you about it, he is quite an aviation fan himself and he has also invited the press along."
"Well, Mitchell and I would be very happy to attend," I said. "We will try and be there at about 9:45am, is that ok?"
"That is fine, thank you very much in behalf on his Majesty. We will await your arrival."

I put the phone down and went back to Mitchell. "Be very courtious tomorrow, as we are meeting the Prince of India."

FLIGHT 5
OIKR - DELHI INTL (GHANDI INTL?)

It was 5:05am, and due to the length of this flight, we decided to head off at this time. We boarded "Howie" and set off.

A low-lying fog had covered these mountains, and perhaps even more land. I just hoped is was a fog and not low lying cloud.

Image
We were still fighting to get above the fog. We found that there was some quite awful turbulence, as I found when the coffee which I had made was spilt on my leg, and that was rather hot!!
At this point I felt like I was a submarine under the sea, and you can hopefully see why.

Image
Finally, after breaking through the fog (which I was pleased to see it was only fog), we could settle down and let the autopilot take it from here.

Cruising here at FL200, heading towards a pretty sunrise over a ridge of Iranian mountains.

MORE SOON!

Nice to see you and Mitchell again! ;D Very nice shots. :)

BUT, there is a limit of 500 Kb worth of shots per post, and this post exceeds that limit.
