Hi and welcome to the next episode of :

KILLERBUNNY'S EUROPEAN CAPITALS TOUR

Wednesday I flew Leg 2 of my ECT.  Here are the pics :).

LEG 2 : Madrid  ->  Roma

At Madrid Barajas (LEMD), taxying to the runway.

Climbing to the desired altitude.  Again, its very nice weather.  8)

Just before I reached the Mediterranean Sea, I past over Barcelona.  Here we see a pic of El Templo de La Sagrada Familia, a basilica designed by Antoni Gaudi

Flying over the sea, getting closer to Italia.

-> Left Pic :  Over the sea there were more clouds and turbulence.  Luckily, nothing I couldn't manage. :)

-> Right pic  :  Over Italy, I changed my route a bit to get a nice view of Firenze, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.  My heart bleeds not being able to land here.  I really wanted some bottles of Chianti.  But since this isn't a capital, I must continue flying.  I will have to do with this pic of the Ponte Vecchio.

Whats happening now? ???  20 minutes after I flew over Firenze the second engine started to act strange.  Damn, couldn't this have happened earlier??  That would have been a good reason to make a landing in Firenze.  I'm to close to Roma now to go back.   I'll do everything for a good glass of wine now!

On final to Roma Fiumicino (LIRF)

As you see, my second engine has stopped completely, but  I didn't have problems landing.   I hope this won't be a big (or expensive) problem.  I just started my trip.

Benvenuti in Italia!  :D   Vino, Pasta, Grappa, Amaretto, Culture, Beautiful women! What could I wish more? ;D

First I'm going to look for Woozy's house to get that cup of tea he promised me ;)

Ciao!

Cool. did you program that failure, or just simulate it?
I thought about enabling failures for my RTW flight, but with the short maximum time interval, it really wouldn't have provided the element of surprise I wanted... I guess it's intended more as a procedures-learning tool than anything else...

I simulated it.  You will see in the next leg why ;)
