I slide carefully past the mountain of cloud...






Then I witness the first harbinger of sunset... actually very pretty with the clouds...






Not quite sure if i'm on course, so I open an IFR plan with Libreville ATC. Besides, it's getting dark, and there's a wall of cloud ahead...









As the sun sets, I cross a river... not sure which one.






Getting closer... Libreville gives me my approach instructions for a visual landing at Port Gentil. So far on this trip I have been lucky... never had to land in IMC.







The actual sunset is quite beautiful...












As night falls, I set up for descent to my localizer approach.

You weren't kidding about that sunset, it's gorgeous! This series is getting me primed for a flight somewhere...anywhere. On to 4!

Well, gosh! Yeah, that's a great screenie, considering i run my clouds settings at below 40% on everything... wish I could remember exactly who's clouds those are... sometimes they're amazing.
