Shark Bites: Irfanview vs  PIXresizer

Just a couple of shark shots....ever notice how light (k's) your shots become when they're overlit? The first set has been resized with Irfanview, the second with PIXresizer. Anyone see a difference in quality?
This first set (Irfanview) ended up around 60k.

I prefer the irfanview pics.   Especially in the water the difference is clear.

I think they're smaller because there is less to render.

I'ld have to go irfan, the tiny details (like the cloud infront of the sun) are much better

Hmmm... it would have helped if you posted the ictures in pairs... ::)
I'd go for irfanview to. It feels like the edges are sharper.
