Various shots from Japan...
Posted: Mon Sep 19, 2005 7:48 pmArrived at Narita from Amsterdam and soon headed off for Osaka's Itami...Thanks to GCS screwing up there are no shots from the flight there only the return trip back to Narita.
The next day I started searching for my next destination..I found the city of Fukuoka and I couldnt help but find out more
Cleared for takeoff.
Landing with an 11 knot crosswind was not very fun...Also quite turbulent as we dropped below 5000 feet.
For such a name I found this area to be quite nice. Insted of returning to Tokyo imediatly I headed off to Okinawa.
Really liked the views after departure.
Getting towards the weekend I figured it would be best to make my way back to Tokyo so I could head east Saturday night...Unfortunatly that never happened since some things came up. So hopefully next Saturday will be better for the long haul.
Only this one shot from the first leg..I returned to Narita via Itami.
First chance to fly the 747-400D...It was a little strange to find a 400 without winglets.
Evening arrival.
Next morning...On our way to 34L.
Braking after a rather rough landing.
Since I now have another week till I have time for a trans Pacific flight, I might do a couple more domestic flights. Not sure as to my final desination but it will be flown on Northwest ;)
And incase anyone is questioning...Unless my computer calculated wrong...this post, even with 13 shots, meets the 500K limit
