Newest version Rapide, Duxford

Postby krigl » Sun Sep 18, 2005 2:25 pm

Can't shake that Rapide mood  ::), especially since I downloaded the updated Rapide from Garwood, Hambly and Co... took one paint of it for a spin around Iain Gallacher's excellent Duxford scenery....  :)

Fabulous plane, great sound, so glad they finally kitted out the cockpit, now it's perfect. IMHO. :)

Hope you liked them...

Thanks Rimshot and Ecko, the newest version of the plane is from here:

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004vintage32.htm

and there are some nice repaints most easily found on...cough...av..s..im..., this package is the 'DH89a', there is also an older package also used in my old 'FTA' shots posted recently with many more repaints including Varig, BEA... model not so detailed, but slap in the new panel, VC and sounds by Mark Hambly and you'll hardly notice the difference...

The scenery is from here, and there's an F15 add-on to the static display also available, just search on SimV for Duxford

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery35.htm

Hope you enjoy the stuff as much as I :)

I know, I asked them where they'd put it before I took off, and they said they'd had to take it indoors because it had been raining earlier.
