...Hawaii ;D Went for Golden Hawaii as the first tryout of the 'new' Lyons stuff...and somewhat predictably went for the Volcano mission....

Image

Wow, it was tricky but I managed to find one... :)

Image

After gingerly (well, yellowly) approaching it, I executed a cautious flypast.... No signs of human habitation.

Image

Not wanting to give any onlookers the impression that I was yellow, I gripped the yolk er yoke firmly and closed in....
Image

Gazing into the infernal flame, I was suddenly devoured by madness and dreams of eternal life...
Image

Raving and delerious I cut the power and we span out of control into the fiery abyss.....
Image

down....down...down......
Image

to the centre of Hawaii....................Muahahahaha!!!!
Image

the end... :)

Thanks for looking....Comments as always welcome :)

Krigl

ps. I bought a plane today... on a disc that is, at an airshow, and it isn't available anywhere official, but I paid 300 crowns for it so I guess it's payware (it's my first payware plane...and very possibly the last :)), will post shots in the payware section soon... means I can use my flight environment for screenshots at last too, looking forward to this...

Thanks cyspyro21, they are the Golden Hawaii package by the Lyons couple, almost certainly available on Simv, or go to Avsim library and click on "Hot files this month" and you've got it. You can opt to fly in 1930s Hawaii, or present day. In 1930s there are 19 'adventures', loads of graphics goodies like volcanoes, static aircraft and scenery... and some planes come with it. It was payware, now released as freeware...along with other cool stuff... thanks to Jared and others who are publicising this great load of stuff :)

I like your avatar by the way...very artistic!

Thanks Lemoncat and all... I almost feel like it's MY volcano now... ;) but 3 cheers for those Lyons guys who made such cool stuff.... 8)

Tanning by volcano is the best way to get brown... no risk of skin cancer! ;D

LOL- that's crazy!!
I love the GH package, and really dig that Kellett- but maybe you can help me: when I DLd that, the rotor wouldn't spin. It flies, but the rotor appears stationary. Really spoils it. Did you by any chance have the same problem?

It pains me to say it, but I'm afraid I can't... Mine works perfectly. The only thing I've heard of like this is the problem with some FS2002 planes whose props don't show up in FS9, but probably that's irrelevant in this case... :) Maybe try re-installing...er... sorry. Shame. :'(
