short hop over med
Posted: Fri Sep 09, 2005 3:58 pmBack from my holiday, had to do a bit of flying...opted for a short hop from Luqa airport, Malta, to Reggio Calabria... downloaded an IFDG Air Malta A319-100 repaint + model, Luqa airport, Sicily mesh, Messina city ortho and only an hour later was ready to go... flight was really ordinary so had to think of a scenario and the best I could come up with was: the Maltese Butcher's Association had chartered my plane for a short flight over to the annual mortadella festival in Reggio....dressed in their aprons and hats they all filed aboard...
On the apron at Luqa I found that none of my nav lights worked, which doesn't look too good, and could be downright dangerous, maybe. After pushback I found while taxiing to the active runway that the plane kept colliding with invisible building objects and crashing ...interesting.... it also cast no shadow, which made me wonder if my butchers weren't in fact......vampires...
In the end I gave up and restarted on the active runway, where....
