I like the gee bee.  I think its "cute".  You know, like a chubby baby.

Geebees always looked.. toyish to me.  But then, look at how they're flown!  :P

Lotta pilots killed in the GeeBee. Fun little plane though. Nice shots.

I just read a short story about the 1939 cleveland airraces.  It had a bit about the women's unlimited race, and in that one race, two pilots, in their gee bees, crashed and died

Its a plane that will be well known for it's wins and unbelievable speed (290 MPH, in the 1930s ), but even better remembered for the tragedies it caused
