At Last - A Twin Mustang!!

Postby TSC. » Mon Aug 15, 2005 3:30 pm

Hi all,

Well big thanks to RichieB16 for giving me the link to this incredible Twin Mustang, although it's a CFS2 aircraft, my 1st impressions are that it works fine in FS9.

Looks fairly normal so far:

Ah ha!!! - Surprise!!:

The 2D is a cool cockpit:

There is a VC with this plane, but in FS9 it's fairly useless (no gauges) - however it may be ok in CFS2.

The only other problem I have noticed is that the prop blades don't show up, but it's barely a problem worth mentioning.

Cheers,

TSC.

Yeah, wings are the way forward apparently.

& Ashar, you don't really notice the prop problem when your flying, it's really not too bad.

I know it'd never happen, but I think it'd be funny if two people could control it in FS9 in Multiplayer, each controlling half the plane, just imagine it.

Pilot 1: Left!
Pilot 2: Right
P1: Left!
P2: Right
P1:Le...
-Plane splits in half and both pilots plummet to their doom.-

I downloaded it and tried it in cfs2 I did have prop blades but also no gauges in the VC.

Yeah, wings are the way forward apparently.

I always thought wings were used to go up. :)

Errr.. yeah. But then what's the point as you might just as well be in a single Mustang - with prop blades  ???

Is that based on a real plane? If so, what was the reason somebody did it?
