Big aircraft, isn't it? Like it best with those 8 engines.

Written by Dale Brown, the modified B-52 is the "star" of the book "The Old Dog" and mentioned in at least four more of his books

"Flight of the Old Dog"; Dale Brown.

THE most exciting aviation intrigue novel I've ever read!

Old Dog Zero One was a highly modified B-52 called (IIRC) the 'Megafortress' in later novels.

If you can find it, read it - it's a real nailbiter!

i've read many of his novels.  They are great.  In the later novels, it is called the "EB-52 Megafortress."  "Storming Heaven"  is another of his great books.  It is one of the latter ones.  came out in 1999 i believe.

Inly thing I dislike about the series is that it is hard to find out the chronological order of the books.  Some of the earlier events in the series were written about in later novels.  however they are all good.
