I doubt it would ever be allowed due to the closed-architecture of the sim. Everyone will be having the same planes, and the screenshot will get boring real quick [unless you do some editing - which is not permitted in the UNedited Screenshot Contest].

Heh, I know that kind of feeling. Every thing is running great when suddenly something goes really wrong!
Not long ago, me and my wingman encountered a flight of four hurricanes and two I-16s. While all of my squadmates went after the I-16s, I went for the Hurricanes. Well, I was just lining up behind two of those buggers when suddenly their wingmen popped up behind me and blew my engine to kingdom come with a single burst. I manged to soar back into friendly territory, of course, but this incident thought me two valuable lessons:
1) Always check your six.
2) Never underestimate your enemy.
