Are CFS3 effects useable in FS2004? i want that fire effect. ..

Funnily enough the little guy to the right of the plane with his knees tucked under his chin wasn't so keen!  :D

I seriously doubt if they'll work on fs9, they are from Fox's effects package available from SimOuthouse (thanks Bear ;) although I can't get the vortices and contrails to work yet)

Damn shame I didn't keep these for the screenshot contest......have to come up with something else!

Stunning stuff, you seem to be getting the best out of this sim and that can be very tricky. No CFS3 effects or aircraft will work in any other sim sadly.

Thanks Hawker, my system is nothing special though, and the frame rates would make you cry. For me though it's a balance of wanting to get a feel of flying these amazing machines, and getting some great visuals to share. Even with poor frame rates it's still playable, I crank it down for the campaigns though ;)

Your Leg Ends pictures were stunning by the way. I have a picture or two of

Bent wingtip and some smoke damage to the paint on the tail, it was flying again the following day  ;)
