Night 'hawk intercept

Just horsing around the other night in this nice McDonnell Douglas OA-4M SkyHawk by Kazunori Ito...not very good at flying it yet (need a good panel, for one thing!), but when I spied this AI jetliner, I couldn't resist the challenge...

No problem closing in; just have to watch out for overspeed.

Forming up: a different story...anybody know what airliner that is?

Eh. I'm all over the place. But look at the sky! Moon and Sun looking good!
Image

And of course, it wouldn't be a Rotty-style fighter jet landing without a good overrun... made it home in one piece, though!!

Rotty, you absolutely nailed it in this series. The first shot, the stars, moon, lonely, dangerous, beautiful skies..
Chasing the contrail in the second and fourth. Brilliant. I really mean it. Opens up a whole new set of ideas for future shots. Bravo!!      ;D ;D ;D

It is a world travel 737 to be correct ;)

I wasn't challenging anyone... I figured it might be a 737, but those things all look the same to me... ;D
Thanx for looking. Best thing about these is that I wasn't really planning nice pictures, and I didn't replay- just paused when it looked interesting.
Still have a long way to go forming up with jets... ;D

You look like a loose canon in that jet Rotty!  ;D And about the landing... don't we all experience that beeing a little short on runway feeling from time to time?  ;D

Great shots!

Thanx again... yes, that's all default FS9 sky, and yes, it's tricky. That Skyhawk is also really hard to taxi without tipping over, too! ;D

Cool! Now I really want it! Lets see who can set the fastest laptimes! We need a nice airport with lots of taxiways!
