Hello all... ;D...!

The latest acquisition for my hangar...!
The delightful 1927 Model 2A Ford Flivver.... 8)...!
This particular model being fitted with a horizontally opposed, two-cylinder engine manufactured by Ford! developing some 30 HP.
It exhibits quite a good turn of speed, and has good handling characteristics.
Being a tail-dragger, great care has to be taken in the use of the brakes to prevent a "nose-over" onto the prop!

This really is a fun machine for a fly-around on those lazy, hazy, Sunday afternoons.... ;D...!
This delightful machine can be found here...>>>

It has an excellent Virtual Cockpit and animated propeller, and just listen to that wind...!!

The following pics show my initial flight around my home-base airfield, Half Moon Bay, (KHAF)...>>>
(The scenery is my creation using LAGO's FSE program).

Cheers all...!

Paul.

Also, 'cos I'm about the only one here who flies it...
The excellent "FS 2004 California Central Coast Scenery"
Modifies the existing scenery to show coastal buildings, objects, beaches, waves, ships and piers, etc...
Well worth a try for 'Fornia flyers...!

I repainted the flivver.  If you want the paint, there on Flightsim, just search for flivver

Fozz, who's almost as old? Oh, you mean the plane!! ;)

The shots would have looked way better with Gumby flying!
