This is the first and only aircraft I have ever made for Flight Simulator, a lightening. I cant go further because I dont know how to texture the plane and there are no tutorials...I know its rough but I would have refined it. Right now its no use because I cant texture...  but it would once have been freeware...  ;)

Ditto, all i could make is a rather odd looking box with wings... lol

And there is a tutorial somewhere on mapping a a/c.. ive seen it... ummm.. i dunno where though lol..

There are several tutorials out there that help you with all aspects of gMax.  Here is a link to the SimV tutorial list-the "Stupid Idiot's Guide" walks you through the whole design process in a very detailed manner and it does have a section for texture mapping.  Give it a try.

Thanks!  :) Actually I learned to make this aircraft using the Stupid Idiots guide (and advice from Milton Shupe) but it doesnt cover the mapping very well...  :P

Maybe in the holidays Andy if I get time because this stuff takes so long...  ;D

I can understand lol....

Took me 15 hours to do the first few pages of that tutorial...

And this one took me a couple of months before she was airborne... Thoug shed never lift out of gmax...  ::)
