Kicking It Up a Notch!

Postby jordonj » Sun Apr 17, 2005 10:04 pm

Well, here I am getting ready to take a tour group in a Vintage Dragon Rapide...

Image

I say hello but they all seemed engrossed at the stationary scenery...snobby gits!

Image

Taxiing down the runway of Charlevoix Airport...

Image

Heading towards Mackinac Island...

Image

They still look bored, so I decide to try something different...

Image

Look up towards the lower wing...now the upper wing, and you will see the Mackinac Bridge!

Image

On approach to Mackinac Island...

Image

Landed...

Hey Jordan, they all look a bit defensive & iffy to me - did you check their luggage?? Looks like they might be on a 'business' run - especilally the guy at the back with the 'bling bling' necklace. Be careful with that lot mate - you don't wanna ask too many questions - capiche!!

Great shots by the way!!

Cheers,

TSC.

LOL!!!
That under-the-bridge-inverted shot would've made a nice contest entry!
And I wouldn't worry about that bunch:they  look like a bunch of sissies (note the shoulder pads).

Yeah, I thought of that, but I hadn't gotten around to adding a smoke system...

Still, I had some fun!

Yes, that is the default 9.1 Mackinac bridge...I use the Mackinac Island scenery by Al Heline.

The plane can be found at AVsim...;D

huh! trolls ::)^^^^ just kidding ;) u ever been to the Les Cheneaux Islands they are great but once you start living here!!!! u notice there is NOTHING here. we have two restaurants not including establishments for adult drinks ;). and the closest real stores/city is the Soo which is 35 miles away. ?Question? is the Hessel landing strip on that scenery? its nothing big but i think it used to be an emergency fighter landing strip in the cold war. lol thats what it is called on maps (not an airport but a landing strip) ;D

Very nice. My first flight was in a Dragon Rapide in 1984 or 1985. I was 3, and it was from Duxford...
