Wasn't really busy today, with just five of us at most, but much fun was had all the same.

Well...after a slight boo-boo with the first airport, we got flying...
Started from Duxford and first stop was Manston.

Keeping close to eno en route...

As we were crossing the Thames estuary, someone (Kevin ;)) said, "Buzz the boat", to which I gladly obliged...

Finally arrived at Manston, where we met-up with Ken and Sou...

There was supposed to be a slight accident from Souichiro here, unfortunately the pic didn't come out :(

Anyways, down at London City...but there seems to be something missing, anyone?
Image

About to pass over the Canary Wharf complex, en route to White Waltham...
Image

Down @ White Waltham, some of us made it, some didn't...

Final OFFICIAL stop, Yeovil...

We decided to continue on to Lands End/St. Just.....
Took quite a few pics, but chose this one for Ken...The Eden Project.....

Much fun was had and I have a few sunset pics which made my system bleed...they'll be in a seperate thread soon :)

Cheers,
Carl

Sorry to say that I've never heard of the Eden Project Carl, but now with your help, I can say that I've seen the orbs of "Eve"....

So this is what you chaps get up to. Very interesting. Runway or not the Rapide was designed to operate from grass. I can remember when they were operated out of St. Just.

Down @ White Waltham, some of us made it, some didn't...

I had intended driving up to White Waltham for the fly-in yesterday. If the weather hadn't clagged in I would be posting photos from there now.

PS. I believe all 3 Rapides in your shots are based at Duxford. Two are used for pleasure flights on air show days if you want to try one for real.
