update2 Hood River Elk Hunt

Postby allosaurus1 » Fri Apr 15, 2005 12:58 pm

this is the only shot for now. I'm still trying to find the three elk herds in the area.
Image
Well here is the rescue mission that I found in the area :o :D
Image
But I still can't find the herds :(
Well with a little help from the Author Allen Richards. I have found one of the elk herds south east of the camp.
Image
this herd is west of camp.

Is that scenery compatible with Sandman's Columbia River Gorge?

Where can it be found?

Hey now, that shot is really cool man. I don't know why I like it so much. It just really makes me want to get out & go camping - obviously, equipped with a Jet Ranger aswell.

Great shot allosaurus, it tells a great story for a single picture.

Cheers,

TSC.

Thanks for the comments you can find this scenery at hovercontrol's scenery section. You will need the first version and then add the fix version. Jordonj this will work with Sandman's Columbia River Gorge. that is what the patch fixes I think. So have fun, don't shot the deer at the camp but have fun looking for the elk, which I am still looking for.

Found it!  Incidentially, have you picked up helicamps or the Mt. St. Helens base?

No this was the first helicoptor sceanery that I have installed. Is the mt st hellens base a real base?

Hi allosaurus,

I downloaded the elk scenery & it is really cool - thanks for the tip.

Not sure if we were supposed to be just observing the Elk or hunting them, so I bought this along just for good measure:
Image

As you can see, i've taken the hunting a little bit too seriously. Also, somebody left the 'Zippo' at home, so we can't get the log fire going - dang!

Cheers,

TSC.

Given its close proximity to the volcano, I doubt it exists in the real world, but it's cool scenery!

Is that helicopter crash from HC's Liquid scenery?

Jordon, The rescue mission is a bonus in the elk camp scenery.
