Vintage Joy!

Postby jordonj » Tue Apr 05, 2005 9:35 pm

These are some planes that I recently got...not exactly new, but still...

The first is a FS2002 Plane known as the Davis  (all planes have VCs)

This is known as a Fleet 2

They can be found at AVSIM (dunno if they're here or not).   Look under fs2002 with steven D. Myers...you'll come across those planes, texture packages by Leon Louis, and more...!  No radios or GPS but they are easy to add if you really want them...

And this plane is here in the Vintage section...The St Georg!!!

Image

The cool thing...the watch actually sways in the VC as you bank!.  The pistons move in the engine as well!

The plane is done by Zoran Sivcev, Luka Midic and Goran Savic...the same people who did the Soko Galeb and the Utva 75 (another FS2002 plane that works great in FS2004).  The plane is also compatible with FS2002!

Hmmm...shots not showing...we'll wait and see if new shots can be posted...

I'm thinking the use of parentheses in your image names was a bad choice.

Or is it that the forum image upload thingy isn't working?

The parenthesis are part of a  naming convention I've been using for some time now...I know there have been some problems lately though (errors when trying to reply)...

Wow, those are way cool. I've been looking for a Fleet- ever read Richard Bach's book about barnstorming in a Fleet across the USA in the 60s (Nothing By Chance)?

Hate the name but love the Davis. (no offence to anyone named Davis)
