Well after Congo pointed me here in World Wind and told me about these huge long clifs I decided to check it out. The weather changes very fast here you may see in the shots. Its a very nice fun place and a short hop to get there from Australia.
Head East from Telofomin to get there...

Entering the canyon opening, I can tell its gonna be fun.

Getting in there over that hump is where it all starts.

For size reasons I had to cut out most of my trip but we started off with a clear day not a cloud in the sky and I got to the end and there was a front right there. In this shot I am heading back over the end part..

Almost back to Telifomin, that storm seems to be chassing me! :-X

Hope you enjoyed em 8)

Sweet shots! That reminds me of a trip I had taken a couple of years back in a UN Antonov AN-12. And that Canyon looks like the one in Disney's Tailspin.

Does that Osprey have a VC?

Is that default scenery?

And great shots!

AFIAK, all the Osprey models out there don't have a VC.

No VC, but it has a pretty good panel, that is freeware mesh here at simv...
