big barren mountains. After vacationing in Yakutat, Alaska it was time to return home; first stop Juneau. The weather is a little iffy but I decided to fly up the glacier paths east of Fairweather mountain.

Midway after a very bumpy ride. Even with a quartering tailwind I used more fuel than I planned and may have to set down short of my goal. More to come.

Clear skies,
Paul

This is a very majestic series. All great, but pics 2 and 3 offer a phenomenal blend of sky and cloud. Your setup for pic 3 showing the vertical range is super. I'm really impressed with this series. I'm as interested in quality scenery shots as I am in displayed aircraft, if not more so. The last shot has a great depth of field... I'd also love to see more of this scenario, but with a different plane...maybe not a seaplane. Got any time or ideas?...Great quality work propnut!

I agree with clipper on this one, spectacular shots!
I can picture a Beaver with huge tundra tires. That would just look great. What do you think about that clipper?
