Follow the instructions at the top of this forum...

They do, but the rules say NO to all off-site photo links. Upload here only.

Once again there seems to be a growing disregard for posting shots within the guidelines set forth by Pete on image size! There are a number of people posting shots over the 100kb limit and also many people posting shots that are linked to other sites like Photo bucket and Image Shack! Also there are a few with signature images the size of a regular photo!

In the past we have resized the image to work within the site rules but with so many linked to outside sites, we have no choice but to just remove them. Please people, if you do not know how to upload and post an image, please see the tute on Simviation Posting.

I have also posted a copy of the guidelines for this site.

Thank you for your cooperation & You know who you are!

ill say this once and ill say it again this dosnt work for everyone. We should be open to option. Also this would make up for not having our shots overwritten. It dosnt really make the forums that much slower dose it?

Please ctjoyce! Drop it! You might not like it, but it are the rules. If you want I can explain you nice and clear how to post shots and how to resize them to comply to the forum rules. Also try to understand we ( the people longer around) have to explain this over and over and over again to newer members. Just take a look at the sticky threads on top of each forum. They are there for a reason, you know.

Anyway, let's stop this useless discussion and concentrate more on the fun part! the art of screenshot-taking...  ;)

I agree; I've seen this happen in other forums and it's never that much fun. Basically, it's the people that started the forum, run it and pay for it that decide what the rules of conduct are. Suggestions are usually welcome, provided they are constructive, but it's up to the admins to accept them or not... live with it and have fun, or if you really can't stand some rule, you can always start your own site.
Personally, I find this forum one of the friendliest I have participated to, and I like it the way it is. Also I have never experienced particular technical problems apart from sometimes some lag when updating the profile or doing searches.
