are you the one in the lear or in the commander?

because you can fly an airplane without a rudder you know, unless you are the lear.

I was in the commander...I was taking off and the Lear was landing...and the "As Real As It Gets" ATC didn't warn me about the incomming traffic... >:(

...I didn't have aircraft labels on (bad for screenshots, so I just keep it off all the time), and I was looking down in the VC trying to set autopilot...

...and then...looked up...jammed the stick forward...and smacked my keyboard... :P

...and  pressed 'P'... ::)

Ooh.. tht's nasty. Scratch a wing for the Lear, and vert. stab. for the Commander. Buh-bye. Sure looks pretty, though...
What crash-detection setting were you using? It's amazing how close they got before it detected...

Crash is set at everything....but the Lear wing was half way through my tail before it picked up the crash...and then the Lear just flew onwards...

again...

...and then the Lear just flew onwards...

I have had something like that before. I was flying a Cessna and I crashed into a King Air. I lost my wings and tail and the King Air was cleared to land.

Gotta remember...the AI is not modelled for crashing...
