Yes, I totally agree Charlie. Do you need hi speed internet to do so? Nice flying guys, I was wondering when the bullets would start to fly.  :)

Once I get FS up and running again I need to get online and do some flying with you ozzy! I'm kind of tired of flying online with newbies who ask how to change settings and can't fly for beans ;D

That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they

Excellent props (Spitfires and Huricanes??  Sorry was asleep at aircraft recognition classes, dreaming of flying).

I have only done a link up to my brothers computer hence the 2 concordes side by side on the left.

Never tried to fly online,  I have 512kb BroadBand but AOL say they are doubling it next month to 1MB so I presume that the frame rates etc should be ok?  Do you have to pay anyone to flyonline?

Sorry but I would like to use my FS to the full or a bit fuller than it is now :-)

Hope someone can put me on the right "flight" path!!

Thanks,

John

Boom! Boom! - LMAO John ;D

Right here goes,

Although I didn't fly with them I know they're the AH Seafire III's and are available HERE (just needs a quick (free) sign-up) ;)

Unless hosting you shouldn't see much of a drop in frame rates, in fact, chances are they'll improve due to the fact there's NO AI (I have a 1mb connection and when I last flew with Ozzy and co. I hit 25-30 FPS which was a shock for me! (avg 15-20 offline))

As for paying, only if Ozzy's in a bad mood ;D, but seriously, it's free to fly multiplayer :)
Although technically not (you still have to pay you're monthly internet costs ;D, plus you had to buy FS in the first place ;D)

Hope this clears things up and hope to see you online V.Soon ;)

Cheers,

Carl

Thanks Carl,

Have just started downloading the "Schmitfire" by accident as I thought it was the seafire, never mind.

I will download the seafire when finished.  Where is the best place to fly online?  I heard from an old friend that he flew online with FS2002 ages ago and someone called "Tom" entered his flight (Think it was through MSN Gaming Zone) and when he came of line his computer crashed and he lost a lot of files due to virus!!!

I am a little warry (Spelt right???  on my guard :-) )

I will post some shots once airbourne :-)

Thanks and Tally HOOOoooooooooo

Personally I'd only fly online with people I know and (to a certain extent) trust (SimV members). Ozzy is probably the best as he'll have you doing wicked crazy stunts in no time at all ;D :P

Also avoid flying with people who make you feel uncomfortable, chances are they may be up to no good ::)

Anyways, most of the other guys have more online experience than me and maybe they can help you more, but follow a few simple rules and you'll be fine ;)

Cheers,

Carl

Very responsive little things, makes me want to get combat FS3 but I think I should wait until I have built new comp first!

Have fun....Chocks awayyyyyyy
