Ive been doing a long flight around the continent of Africa, and Ive captured some interesting shots along the way.

Leaveing Alexandria in the early moring hours (not that interesting, but it sets the stage)

Later that day, I circled around the Sphinx, and the pyramids for a closer look before landing in Cairo.

After that it was featurless open desert fo several hundred miles. I found nothing of interest untill I was crossing the border of The Dem. Rep. of Congo (not to be confused with their neighboring country simply called Congo) into Rowanda. I dont know the name of this lake, but it is on the same river as Malawi and Tangyika.

Turning on final over the lake for a landing in Goma.

Hope you enjoy them. Ive got more, If you guys are interested, I will post them.

...A little barren on the scenery...

Yeah, Ive noticed that most of Africa is rather treeless in FS. I would think that the area I was in for my last two shots would be nothing but trees.
