Living in the Past

One of my favourite FS2002 models, this C140 finally got it's bush paint on. Now I just need to figure out how to put a little sheen on it.

I like the way this flies, the airfile is not over-hot like many small models. The virtual cockpit is pretty good as well.

I'm flying in FS9, it's just that I can't seem to find a C140 for it, so I'm using this model, seems to work OK so far though.

There is a wheeled and float version available, the floatplane has different flight dynamics, (more drag etc) and a bigger engine. If you like bushplanes, this one is worth trying even though it's an oldie. There are a few related files (repaints and modded dynamics) available.

It's an interesting plane, and there are flying tips etc based on real life experiences with it. Performance was variable on the type, dependant on weight etc.

Here is the VC:

That's not the one, it has no VC.

Brian Gladden's model is the one I'm using.

Here is some info and where it can be found.

Sorry to be reviving an old thread, but just so you know there's another cool plane on that page...the Zenair

STOL, good VC, it's made for 2002 pro and has some issues because of the difference between the two versions (trying to click the lights or Pitot heat switches crashes FS9).

However, if you use Keyboard commands, it works just fine.

Nothing's wrong with the Radio either!
