In regards to what eno said, it DOES look a little like a big huge flying turd.  It sure is awkward, especially with the landing gear down, at least it give something to laugh about when an ominous jet goes screeching by.

I think these German engineers put a jet engine in a small submarine to make it faster. It hit the beach with such a speed, it just took off.
