London to Dubai (Emirates 777-300)
Right on time...Its been roughly 2 weeks sence my last VA flight and that seems to be my pace for the last couple months. So today I decided to take my flight from London's Gatwick to Dubai.
Spending a couple weeks in London and ready to continue on my way back to Asia. I have now gone around the world starting in Ampsterdam and circling around through Asia and the US. My intentions are to explore the Middle East now and then work my way through Asia and so on till i once again circle the globe. Only with many more stops and short hops. Not by several long hauls as i did with this trip. So enough of my rambling here are the pics.
Waiting for takeoff clearence at EGKK.

Liftoff.

Mildly bumpy climb out but things are supposed to be better once at cruising altitude.

37,000 feet and serving supper. 2,000 above our origianal plan do to turbulence but its fairly smooth and a nice tailwind.

What is it with me and landings. Something always goes wrong. On our second aproch do to overshooting half the runway on the first and now this guy (Air France 526 arriving a bit late) flies under me on his aproch. Tower clears me #1 for landing and him #2. He continues to land and makes me go around yet again.

Going around for the third aproch. In the distance is the AF A$$hole slowing down on 30R and half way down and above 30L is a lightly loaded Emirates 777-200 departing.
We finaly made it to the ground Though. Weather was not the best eather. Aprox 20 knot cross winds changing directions like mad.

6.2 hours after takeoff we are parked at the gate. A little late due to the go arounds. I am on my way to a hotel for the night and then tommarow its off to Islamabad, Pakistan.

This flight also put my log book to 100.2 hours. All done in real time. I'm now only .8 hours and 1 flight away from promotion to Junior First Officer
That shall all change tommarow night
