Tokyo to Atlanta (Delta 777-200)
I'm definatly feeling tired after this one
Tis a beautiful sunset as we prepare to start the engines... The passengers are settling in for the 12 hour flight to Atlanta, though some are a little worried about taking off into the storm that is brewing overhead.

Aprox, 16:40 as we begin to get airborn.

Climbing out with some heavy turbulence. Hopefully things smooth out once we get above the storm.

Leveled off at 35,000 feet and supper is being served. The turbulence has slightly smoothed out though we now have a 60 knot tail wind. Everyone is pretty much settled in and glad to be out of the storm.

Finaly making our decent. Its been a long flight and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is ready to get the hell off this plane. Luckly the tail wind stayed with us for most of the flight and we are coming in a 1/2 hour early.

A spotter managed to grab this shot as we neared the runway.

Puffs of smoke mark the end of a 11.5 hour flight that seemed like it would never end. Even getting some sleep during the flight didnt make it go any faster

Glad to be back on terra firma. Its 14:05 and I am definatly off to a hotel for the rest of the day and night. Insted of flying to Fort Wayne like I had origionaly planed I couldn't help but decide on one of the several daily flights to Indianapolis on a Delta 737-200. It means a little extra drive home but it may be one of the few chances left to fly one of these birds before they are put out of service.
