Kennedy International to Heathrow London Part 1

Well, Crazy me Doing a NY to London Flight.... in a Beechcraft! anyways... I didnt take any pics till after I was over open ocean. so here they are after about 8 hours non stop flying.

These are the northern lights? I guess

If anyone could lead me to a twin engine prop that might do longer range flights I'd be super happy, Freeware or payware... Doesnt matter..... I landed in iceland with 2% fuel...!  :o Cheers, Gunny

Wow, 8 hours in that King Air and still 10% fuel.  When I did it i went to greenland and iceland first for safety, even at 33,000 feet and still burning 250-300 lbs of fuel, which was way under the rating Beech put out in their technical data.  How did you manage your fuel?  

Nice shots by the way, and yes those are the northern lights, i encountered those as well on my trip to greenland.

Set auto mix and Flew at 35k with mostly 80 to 100% throttle more into the 100% was doing like 280 Knots ground speed well cheers, Gunny

nice shots of the northern lights - and snow storm - that is really good for a plane that size to go that far on a tank of gas!

I started in New york.... Went to ST Johns Newfoundland..... Then Newfoundland to Iceland.... then Iceland to Heathrow.... Each time I was 20% or lower in fuel... her full range is 1,700 some miles I think pretty good at high altitudes... Cheers, Gunny
