Hopes a neat little town. I've been there a couple times. A guy I know commutes from Hope to Anchorage nearly every day in his PA-22 Pacer (converted to conventional gear [tail dragger]) with studded tires (FAA approved via Form 337). I almost submitted a screenshot for the contest based out of Hope, but used others instead.

Those mountains are across the Cook Inlet, with the 38 meter terrain mesh.

For what it's worth, I found a 182RG with a VC at FSFreeware.com (didn't see it here though)

It's aliased to the Default Skylane but pretty cool all the same!

The only time I go on a flight to Alaska is to watch the aurora's
