nice shots. i recently saw this jet in real life (see my photos in the photos forum).
in fact, the paint is based on the latest Ducati 999 and not a Ferrari.
some people even say the logo on the tail isn't the real Ferrari horse. i haven't compared it to the real logo yet so don't shoot me if i'm wrong. they chose the Ducati scheme because the pilots from Grazinasse really liked this bike. they also held a drag race between the 999 and the F-104. more on this on the Ducati website 8)

Canadians called these "Widow makers" just about lost 'em all in Germany in the '60's. There's one here at the Canadian Museum of flight, my Granddaughter loves to sit in it.
