A lovely MD11. From [url=http://www.overland.co.jp/simmarket/special.html
]HERE[/url] thanks to Fitter for the link.... this aircraft can be seen in his latest edited screenshots.

On the way to the active... Tokyo-Bangkok. Well that was the flightplan.
Image

Liftoff.
Image

Cruising altitude FL340 ... shortly after taking this things went horribly wrong. No1 engine failed necessitating a hasty diversion.
Image

Dumped fuel .... lost altitude and diverted to Kanoya. It turned nicely onto the glide slope .... thats when things got really hairy. :o :o
Image

It was allllll over the place ...  crabbing .... wing dipping  a rollercoaster of a desent.
Image

Got it down .......... but only just and I'm amazed there were no injuries
Image

Parked and empty ........ now the investigation begins.

Enjoy

lol, with a small plane you gotta be two steps ahead of your aircraft...

With a larger plane, you gotta be ten steps ahead at least! :-)

You really tuck in that gear as soon as you get off the ground huh? So much for eastablishing positive climb  ;D

Nice shots.

Nice job, its difficult landing a tri-jet with an engine out.

Great model too, when I first downloaded it, I was speechless, at a loss for words! :o

Nice shots by the way!

These MD-11s are so hard to control at landing.  I have a hard landing about everytime I fly somewhere with it.
