That landing had hair on it!

Postby Travis » Tue Oct 19, 2004 10:07 pm

Well, I just installed my new control systems for my new Aero Commander delivery kite, so I thought I'd get up there and test 'em out.

Image

And while I'm up, I might as well get these motherboards over to Pueblo, CO where they'll be picked up and taken into Denver for the new hospital wing.

Image

FedEx may not be paying me much, but it'll at least pay for the new hardware . . . ;)

Image

I've always hated flying alone, but I do have a few magazines ( :o) to help pass the time!  Besides, its a long flight into Pueblo, so I might as well make the best of it . . . ;D

I'll just sit back and . . . wait.  Hold on a sec.  Did I go through the checklist before I took off?  I didn't! :o  Oh, dear . . .

Hope I didn't forget anything . . .

Holy Crap!!

I've only got three gallons of gas left on this little bucket!  I'm in for a rough few minutes, here . . .

Image

AAAAUUUUUUUUGHGHGHGHGHGH!

Image

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Allright!  I'm on the ground but . . .

Oh, god!!!  DUCK!!!!
Image

Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, OKAY!  Down on the ground, back on the tarmac, all in one piece . . . look at me.  I'm so shaken up I can't even turn on my landing lights . . .
Image

Now where's that bloody refueling station . . .

Image

That is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.  No question about it. :)

I'm staying here tonight.  There is no way those FedEx guys are paying me enough to justify these gray hairs!

Night, folks . . . ;)

You know, I recorded those on my laptop and posted them with the same machine.

Hiya Travis,

Nice series. The balance is a bit weird (dark with a greyish cast) so I tried adjusting em a bit. Just brightness and contrast. Then I noticed something a bit strange. This one shows what I mean.

Image

See that weird looks like red/white latticework in the background. It's in the originals if you look closely.

So the main problem is the graphics card on the PC I reckon

I'm running FS9 on an Inspiron 1100 laptop with a celeron processor, 128 MB RAM.  I'm lucky FS even starts up!
