Sorry if these images are cropped a bit wierd, but I had a lot and had to be creative to make them fit...

Heeeyneyways...I know I said I liked Maules, so here's a couple pics of another one...



A cool plane no matter how you look at it!



Apparently, a small group of Sopwith owners lives here in Maine (strangely enough, they don't have a Camel among them).

And for those of you who are interested,  Thomas Sopwith began the company and thrived during WWI.  After the Armistice in 1918, and the lack of orders for aircraft drove the company into bankruptcy.  However, an Australian Mechanic by the name of Harry Hawker, took over the mortgage and H.G. Hawker Engineering was formed (retaining Thomas Sopwith).

Harry Hawker was killed in a flying accident in 1921, but Sopwith steered the company to even greater achievements, including but not limited to, the Harrier's forerunner.

I got the above information from the May/June issue of PC Pilot in an article called Simulated Sopwiths by Derek Smalls

I love every one of those planes! Could you tell me where you got them all? I do have the maule but none of the other ones.

The Cuckoo, Pup, and Triplane can all be found at NoNodes, but the Sopwith Bee can be gotten at www.aeroplaneheaven.com.

You have to join to be able to download it, but the plane is well worth it (especially if you like aerobatics!)
